Kitchen Storage For the Narrowest Of Spaces

Small spaces can create an access challenge! Narrow openings and deep cabinets make reaching to the back difficult, especially at the bottom. Here’s our favourite kitchen storage for the narrowest of spaces to help transform your space – yet to be built or existing.

Under Bench Cabinets
There are many solutions for this space depending on your width. The simplest are the individual pull out basket drawers. They are versatile and you can store just about anything – pantry items, crockery or even create a tea/coffee station. If you have an internal width greater than 226mm, this is a great solution. This is one of our “go to” solutions because it’s super easy to install and comes in many variations.

Tall Narrow Spaces – Like The Ones Next To The Fridge
These nooks tend to be really narrow but can be transformed to provide loads of storage. The Bottle & Spice Pull Out is one of the narrowest solutions because it only requires 113mm width (plus a little space on the side). They can be placed above each other depending on your available height. You can also add non-slip bases for more stability when storing bottles. The bases are removable and easy to clean. There are several size options, this is just one example of what’s possible.

The Slimline Pantry
Meet the uber narrow pantry! Our Slimline Pantry only requires 137mm internal width making it super compact. Each rack is adjustable so you have the flexibility of positioning things as you need. You can also add non-slip bases for extra functionality. This solution does need professional installation or a skilled DIY installer.

The Space Efficient Utility Cabinet
Our Broom Pull Out fits loads of storage into a really narrow space. We love this solution because it can fit into a wide range of spaces. It suits purpose built cabinets with a minimum internal width of 137mm, but it can also be installed into a hinged door cabinet. Dividing a wide cabinet using a vertical division will allow you to create a narrow section for brooms and other “bits” you need to store. This solution also requires a little more DIY skill.
